[-ʃa; Sanskrit »Geschlecht des Hari«, d. h. des als Krishna Mensch gewordenen Vishnu] der, -, altindische Epos in 16 374 Doppelversen. Es wird als Anhang zum Mahabharata überliefert, gehört aber sachlich zu den »Purana« genannten religiösen Dichtungen. Der Inhalt ist eine legendenhafte Lebensgeschichte Krishnas.
